AET confirms successful conversion of Cummins ISX engine to LPG Diesel Dual Fuel operation.

Alternative Engine Technologies Pty Ltd is pleased to announce that it has successfully converted a Cummins ISX 550HP motor pulling a 68 metric ton vehicle to LPG diesel operation.
The vehicle was running at 1.62km per litre of fuel on diesel only, it now runs 1.61km per lire on dual fuel, 25% is LPG and 75% is diesel.
This gives at current fuel prices, a 17% cost saving and a notional CO2 reduction of approximately 18 tonnes per 100,000km travelled
Pricing – is $22,000 inc GST and should give a full payback in approximately 180,000km assuming no changes in current fuel prices.
