Press Release – AET Enters USA Market 26th September 2007
The Directors of AET are proud to announce that we have successfully entered the market in the USA with its Dual Fuel Technology for Diesel Engines.
At the invitation of our USA based partner – Jonathan Goodwin (see attached press clipping) we were asked to supply a Hydrogen Diesel Dual Fuel system for Galpin Ford (www.galpin.com) and Ford Motor Company of the USA to be installed on a Ford F450 Pickup Truck.
This work has been completed, and successfully so, and Ford Motor have agreed to put it on their stand at the SEMA (www.sema.org ) Trade Show in Las Vegas in November this year. Galpin will also ensure it has relevant emission compliance certificates.
In fact, the response so far is so good; it is likely that Ford will offer our system as a Factory Approved system. In any event, the exposure at SEMA will generate a huge amount of publicity for AET and our products.
Whilst completing this vehicle, we discovered that the performance products for Duramax Diesel engines, used widely in General Motors Vehicles, have suffered with the new engine management systems, in some cases they do not work any longer, or not as well as they should.
We installed our system on a 2007 H2 Hummer with a 2007 model Duramax engine, and it worked, gave the low end power and torque that the market wants and did not emit clouds of black smoke. This will be a huge new market for us, and we are actively getting ready to supply product to the USA. This Hummer will on display at SEMA also.
The retail market for performance products for the Duramax engine in the USA alone is in the region of $USD100,000,000 per annum.
